GROHE launches ceramic sanitaryware to create a one-stop solution for the whole bathroom

The secret to purity and coherence in design is to work from a single source. With GROHE’s introduction of sanitaryware to its range you can now create the ultimate bathroom, all from one supplier. For architects, planners and homeowners who love the GROHE mix of ergonomics, aesthetics and unrivalled technology this offers a perfect, integrated solution with no compromises. Six new bathroom concepts have been created, building on existing ranges by GROHE, but adding washbasins, bathtubs, WCs, bidets and furniture, meaning that perfect coordination across the whole scheme is assured, without limiting choice.

Marking the next step in the evolution of this global brand, this is the first time that GROHE can offer customers the opportunity to design an entire GROHE bathroom. It is a revolution for the brand, the exciting next step in GROHE’s transformation into a single-source supplier of bathrooms.

Comprising both ceramic and acrylic sanitaryware, the six new GROHE complete bathroom lines match almost all GROHE water fittings and can all be combined flexibly. To make it easy to put together ‘perfect matches’, five of the ceramics series are coordinated with specific faucet lines. Each of these series uses the same geometric forms, design elements and detail features, resulting in the Eurosmart, Eurostyle, Eurocube, Essence and Grandera Bathrooms. Another Cosmopolitan Design ceramic line is an optimum match for the popular EuroCosmo faucets, namely Eurodisc Joy, Eurodisc Cosmopolitan, Eurostyle Cosmopolitan and Eurosmart Cosmopolitan. The minimalist ceramics share the urbane elegance of the EuroCosmo lines.

 

Six coordinated bathroom universes

 

Exuding a timeless aesthetic with a hint of nostalgia, the Grandera Bathroom caters to global tastes. It blends flowing feminine shapes with clearly defined masculine corners and edges, culminating in the line’s signature design element, the ‘Squircle’, which fuses square and circular shapes.

The Eurocube style exhibits a uniquely modern look for today’s bathrooms. Its completely ‘edgy’ look is an excellent choice when it comes to creating an elegantly purist decor.

Purely cylindrical forms characterise the Essence Bathroom. The portfolio of ceramic sanitaryware, too, features numerous circular-shaped products to highlight the emotional appeal of minimalism.

The smoothly rounded shapes of the faucets are mirrored in the organically flowing lines of the ceramic elements created for the Eurostyle Bathroom. Their dynamic elegance adds a sense of vibrancy to the bathroom.

Soft arcs and restrained curves are the hallmarks of the Eurosmart Bathroom. The unobtrusively designed ceramic elements are all geared towards ergonomics, functionality and perfect interaction with the faucets of the same name.

The EuroCosmo option bestows a decidedly cosmopolitan look and feel on a bathroom. Pared down to their essential lines, the ceramic elements echo the design of the matching Cosmopolitan style faucets and fittings from GROHE.

 

Range covers all style segments and shapes

 

By offering a total of six different complete bathrooms, GROHE covers all style segments from classical Authentic to modern Contemporary and future-oriented Cosmopolitan. The vocabulary of form is equally varied, comprising a wide range of different geometric elements from circles to squares, from rectangles to lozenges. The clearly defined design of the new ceramic lines is typical of the high standards and aspirations of the GROHE Design Studio whose approach ensures that the product portfolio appeals to a wide range of different aesthetic expectations and tastes around the globe.

The GROHE ceramics range offers solutions for all zones of the bathroom. It includes different basin variants such as wall-mounted, floor-standing, free-standing basins and double basins, bathroom furniture, acrylic bathtubs, wall-mounted and floor-standing WCs as well as shower toilets and bidets. The products use the latest technologies to meet the highest international standards for quality and hygiene. For example all toilet bowls, washbasins and bidets feature the GROHE Hygiene® glaze which, aside from its antibacterial function, gives them an easy-to-clean surface. Depending on the specific model, GROHE PowerFlush® technology uses two or three jets for superior flushing action and impressively clean toilet bowls.

 

Tapping into long-standing expertise

 

Being a member of the LIXIL Group, GROHE is in the position of being able to tap into the Group’s long-standing experience in developing and manufacturing fine sanitaryware. The Group includes several companies with many years of experience in making high-quality ceramics and acrylic products. Building on the successful launch of the first products in Asia in autumn 2014, GROHE will successively roll out its six ceramic ranges in the Middle East, Africa and Europe.
