Impressed and Excited were the Wedding Organizers that visited Limassol
LUXURY – TRADITION – HOSPITALITY
After a remarkable evening in Limassol, 30 wedding organizers from Russia, Ukraine and Moldova invited to Cyprus by Elpida Media, left impressed and excited with everything they have seen and experienced during the few hours spent in Limassol, care of the Limassol Tourism Board and the Limassol Municipality.
The events took place at the Historical Archive/Museum and started with presentations of Limassol as a wedding and honeymoon destination. A spectacular fashion show followed in the gardens of the Museum, showcasing wedding dresses and suits. During the fashion show local wine and delicacies were offered.
For a taste of tradition, a Cypriot wedding was re-enacted by a traditional dance group, where the guests joined in, danced along and took lots of photos.
For their transport to the Limassol Marina and the Medieval Castle Square where they had dinner, the guests got onboard ten classic cars from the Cyprus Classical & Historic Motor Museum. Among the impressive cars were a Citroen Avant, a convertible Overland Willis, a white Hamber Hawk, a glamorous Rolls Roys, a Jaguar and a red convertible VW Beetle.
Among the valued guests were the famous designer from USA – Edgar Zamora, founder of Revelry Event Designers, who is an event design influencer, and Oksana Flanagan, author of the book Your Royal Wedding: Décor to Inspire and owner of an American agency Your Royal Wedding that specializes in exclusive weddings and has been dedicated to help develop the Russian luxury wedding industry.
The events were recorded and extensively photographed by Russian professionals, and the material will be used by Elpida Media to promote weddings in Cyprus.
