The Porsche Design Tower is a skyscraper currently under construction at Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. Designed by Porsche Design Studio, it’s a 195 m structure with 60 stories that is said to become one of the tallest buildings in the area. It is unique for its inclusion of a robotic parking garage, having 284 spaces for 132 units, which will allow the owners to park two or four cars right outside their residences. Each property’s price will range in cost from $4 million to $32.5 million. Drivers ride up the elevator in their cars and place them into their own “garage” adjacent. The tower will have three elevators to take cars to their units and is expected to cost about $560 million to build.“You don’t have to leave your car until you are inside your apartment,” said Juergen Gessler, CEO of Porsche Design Group. The groundbreaking project commenced on April 19, 2014 and is supposed to be completely finished in the nearest future.
German skincare brand Babor will be the exclusive brand for a new spa in the this high-rise building that already claims having the largest number of billionaires under one roof. The Babor spa in Porsche Design Tower will feature three treatment rooms, including a hammam-style vichy shower and a hair salon.
“To create this vision, we reached out to Babor to assist in the planning and development of the massage and vichy shower treatment menus, and to create signature products exclusive to the services provided,” said Andrew D. Richards, vice president, development and construction for Porsche Design.
In addition to the spa, owners at Porsche Tower will also have access to a grown ups playground, featuring a movie theater, professional car racing simulator, sports simulator and wellness and fitness center.
