Invented by the writer Michael Paraskos this delicious creation is talked to be a a new national cocktail of Cyprus as a substitute of traditional Brandy Sour. Cyprus Tourism Organization held a campaign in a goal to inspire local restaurants and cafes to promote local food and drinks. Wonderful refreshing beverage perfect for hot Cyprus summer nights!
Recipe:
- 2.5 cl (1 part) Cyprus Ouzo
- 7.5 cl (3 parts) Freshly squeezed orange juice
- 2-4 drops of Cyprus bitters (Cypriot Magousia Magic Drops Bitters or Cock Drops, can be replaced with Angostura bitters)
- Ice
Shake the ingredients and pour into a tall glass, decorate with a slice of orange. Enjoy!
