One of the most talked about fashion shows that took place in the heart of Athens the MI-RŌ Fall/Winter 2013.2014 by Greek designer duo Dimitris and Giannis whom launched their collection at Parnassus Literary Society building last week. The show a dramatic but very romantic setting that started of with live piano played in the background whilst silk hourglass and long and lean gowns shun their way into the spotlight. Floor length silhouettes with romantic ruffled sleeves which seductively flounced on the model’s shoulders, even the men’s collection had a whole new silhouette with modern re-interpretations of the suit with high necks that had a “vampire la’estate” feel to them. The duo also kept their fall /winter pallet to deep purples, pale petal pinks partnered up with soft black detail, whites, electric blues, deep purples tones that flatter beautiful skin during the cold wintery season. Packed with 40’s elegance and not to forget the modern gentleman’s suit we traveled back in time, equally; in today’s modern world, pure femininity was introduced to us in this year’s amazing MI-RŌ fall/winter collection 2013.2014.
