The International Federation of Martial Arts “Free- Fight” , VFFKE and Cypriot representation MFBI FF (represented by Evgeny Melnikov ) with the support of the Municipality of Yeroskipou represented by Mayor Michalis Pavlidis , as well as the General Sponsor of «Monolith Minimix» ( CEO – Anatoliy Mavrangelidis ) , the sponsor and organizer of «Nikos Property Services» ( CEO – Nicholay Kamanets ) media – sponsor – Russian Radio Paphos (shareholder – Tatiana Butorina ) held in Paphos International martial Arts Tournament free fight MMA ( ultimate fighting ) for the Cup “Battle for Cyprus “.
Tournament was held on October 12, 2013 at 16:00 at Atletico Center of Municipal Stadium Yeroskipou . It was attended by the champions of Ukraine , Russia , Georgia, Greece, Romania and Cyprus.
Among the honored guests of the tournament attended the Mayor of Yeroskipou Mr. Michalis Pavlidis , and the owner of Monolith Cyprus Ltd Mr. Peter Shuiu.
Between rough tournament fights shows featuring folk dance ensemble “Romiosini ” and the Academy of Martial Arts and recreation of Paphos (under the guidance of Alexander Kretov) were performed.
There were nine spectacular fights in total, each resulting in the awarding ceremony with sponsors, organizers and guests of honor. A revanche fight and a spectacular women fight starring world champions of 2011 , 2012 and 2013 was also held during the tournament.
