Elena Pavlou’ s collection of capturing ‘city looks’ with designs gently swathed around the body and tied up into a statement knot. She also experimented with the outline of a silhouette a seen on one of the designs such as the tomato red dress with adapted panelled scales. Bold geometric prints with monochromatic chevrons, undulating knitted material folds and inflated loose fitting lapels all came into the mix combining volume and play on the eye, along with the introduction of warm wintery hues of citrus. Following on the collection’ s colour pallet we saw beautiful shades of eggshell, cobalt blue, black and relaxed minimalist tones of beige. Adding to this eye catching series of looks the models’ hair was pulled back into severe topknots that synchronized well with the show’ s bold looks. All of Elena’s new fashion mixes had a contrast to colour and fabrics in which gave the collection a distinctive urban feel to it.
