Remaining loyal to its sustainability principles, A.I. Motokinisi Group, the exclusive Porsche dealer in Cyprus, actively supports the expansion of the alternative power grid for vehicles with the installation of state-of-the-art, high-power speed-chargers from Porsche.
According to Pavlina Iacovidou, Marketing & PR Manager of A.I. Motokinisi Group, a total of around 25 electric car chargers are expected to be installed by the end of 2021 in 8 different popular locations throughout Cyprus, as part of the global “Porsche Destination Charging” program, where more than 1,000 chargers have already been installed throughout Europe and 900 more will be added by the end of the year!
Porsche offers a range of hybrid models as well as its first purely electric sports car, the Porsche Taycan, which won the World Luxury Car and World Performance Car awards in 2020. It is a four-door sports saloon, offering Porsche’s high performance and connectivity in everyday use.
Electrification, after all, is one of Porsche’s priorities, as announced by the German manufacturer as part of its official announcements on the brand’s financial results and its future prospects.
According to Porsche CEO Oliver Blume, by 2025 one in two new Porsche vehicles will have an electric motor, while 80% of its sales will involve purely electric vehicles in 2030.
In his relevant statements, he was clear: “Battery is the engine cylinder of the future, so we will invest in high voltage and density batteries in the future.”
