Cyprus will allow Russian military aircraft to use the Andreas Papandreou military airbase close to Paphos and has also agreed to open up the Limassol port to Russian naval vessels.
The Russian government asked for permanent places at the airbase for military purposes but so far the the initial use of the base will be limited to aircraft’s for humanitarian and emergency situations.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
